Daniel has experience playing basketball at a variety of levels; Sheffield Junior Sharks U14-U18s, England National team where he competed in the U18s FIBA European Championships, Canaries Basketball Academy and a Full Basketball Scholarship to NCAA D1 programme at Monmouth University.
He has spent time learning from great basketball minds, including his mentors, Toronto Raptors Assistant Coach/Head of Player Development Phil Handy, and Skill Development Trainer Chris Johnson along with numerous others. This has helped Daniel form his own unique and innovative style of training.
Daniel has worked with players at all levels. Whether on an NBA assignment or providing a high school player with an online programme, he approaches everything with equal dedication and commitment.
What to expect...
Daniel analyses each client with intricate detail, breaking down their game. He determines individual strengths and weaknesses in comparison to situations faced on the court.
The result is a carefully constructed and personalized workout package, combining bio-mechanical concepts with detailed and progressive skills breakdown.
In addition, Daniel plays NBA level 'mock' defense for players to visualize live game play and practice read and react situations.
Alongside the individual skills development, Daniel has been involved with grassroots basketball in China, Senegal and England where he has consulted for sports charities, organised and run coaches’ clinics and coached in schools for ages 7 - 20.
Daniel takes pride in managing, mentoring and inspiring players of all ages and levels. He values personal growth (holistic), team work and relationship building and maintenance.
